Come for the fun. Stay for the creations.

Brickworld Chicago 2021 has been cancelled

Well, here we are again. Sadly, Brickworld has decided to cancel this year’s Chicago convention due to continuing concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic. While we did explore options to reschedule for the early Fall, we’ve concluded the best course of action is to punt, once again, to 2022. So, we hope to see everyone next year and know that it will be a great celebration once we are able to see each other again.

In the mean time, Brickworld continues to operate without any income from events, so unfortunately at this time, we are continuing our refund/rollover policy from last year. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope we will be able to operate as usual in the coming year.

Thank you for your continued support. Looking forward to seeing everyone’s happy faces and inspiring LEGO fans of all ages.

Public Expo Ticket Holder
If you have purchased a $14 public expo ticket, we will not be issuing refunds at this time. Our tickets clearly state when purchased that they are non-refundable. We know these are extenuating circumstances and we apologize for the inconvenience, but please understand that we are unable to process refunds at this time, even if we were to make an exception. To be clear, Brickworld has no money. With shows being rescheduled there has been no event income. Pre-sales typically help us cover non-refundable venue deposits and all of our contracts have been signed and partially paid for all six shows for the entire season. Your current tickets will be honored at Brickworld Chicago 2022. In a further attempt to compensate you for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience, we will be offering free access to our 2021 virtual convention, TBD.

Registered Attendees
If you rolled over your $65 or $90 full registration for the Brickworld fan convention in Chicago, you can now request a full refund until May 15, 2021. You also have the option to apply your registration fee to Brickworld 2022. In 2022, we will be raising the cost of registration to $75 for full registration and $100 for full registration with a goody bag. If you choose to apply your current registration fee to 2022, the price you paid for 2020 will be honored and you will be given free access to our 2021 virtual convention, TBD. If, at this time, you would like to request a refund instead of rolling over your registration to 2022, please keep in mind that we might not be able to process refunds until late 2021 or early 2022.
